Are you tired of being bombarded with ads every time you tune into your favorite radio station? As a loyal listener, I'm sure you can relate to my frustration when trying to enjoy live radio without interruptions. Unfortunately, this is exactly what happened to me recently when I turned on the new version of the 3AW app.

As soon as I started listening, I was greeted by no less than six ads before I could even get to the actual programming. It's not just a one-time annoyance; it seems like every time you open the app, you're met with commercial after commercial. I understand that ads are necessary to support the station, but can't we find a more balanced approach?

In addition to the ad overload, I've noticed another issue with the app - the news bulletins often get cut off mid-sentence. This is especially frustrating when I'm trying to stay informed about what's going on in my community. It would be great if the station could work on improving their broadcasting quality.

On a positive note, I do enjoy listening to 3AW's breakfast radio program weekdays from 5:30 am to 8:30 am. The hosts are engaging and entertaining, making it a great way to start your day. However, I think there's room for improvement in terms of incentives to listen. Having more prizes or competitions would be a great motivator.

As someone who is injured and living on a disability support pension, I've struggled with the lack of compensation made available and intervention orders handed down on people in Victoria. It would be great if the station could provide a platform for people like me to share their stories and challenges.

Finally, I'd love to see an anonymous comments section on the app where listeners can discuss important issues affecting our community. This would not only provide a safe space for people to express themselves but also encourage more engagement with the station.

Overall, while there are some areas that need improvement, 3AW remains my favorite station overall. Here's hoping that the new version of the iPod Goldie app will address some of these issues and provide a better listening experience for all users.
